Chief John Wolford is the Chief of Police for the City of Oxford.  He has been in law enforcement for nearly thirty years having served as a Police Chief in a number of cities in three states over the past twenty years or more.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and has completed numerous hours of graduate study in the Criminal Justice and Public Administration field as well as completing training in supervision, leadership and related areas with the FBI in Law Enforcement Executive Development, Southern Police Institute and and the Virginia Police Executive Training Program.  Chief Wolford has also served as an instructor in related areas of interest over the past 10 years or more.   Send Chief John Wolford an email, police@oxfordnc.org.
